Today is the start of my two weeks of holiday! I’m feeling excited! So I thought it would be a great day to share about the people who inspired me to start blogging just to celebrate that. It marks one year in May since I launched this blog. Honestly, I never thought I would create my own blog ‘again‘. Because of my previous blogging which was five years ago, it didn’t take long until I stopped writing. There even some points with my blog where I felt like maybe this is not the right place for me and I won’t be able to keep it going.
But I realize this is the longest I’ve ever been to maintain my blog. Woot woot! One thing I love about blogging is supports from other bloggers. Even though I never met them, but reading theirs always remind me of why I started. Even now, it is still one of my favorite things to do. So here are the three bloggers that inspire me to launch my blog.
Rebecca is one of the humble people who write a lot about beauty, photography and even being vulnerable with her stories. Her content is a collection of everything and my favorite reads are about how she copes with mental health while still managing her own business. Her stories resonated with me especially when my life wasn’t in good shape, she pushes me to believe that there’s a possibility even during a tough time. By the way, she also blogs about her two beautiful whippet dogs in the adventures of Josie and Eddie.
Michelle has been one of my top bloggers for this year too. From photos to writing, everything is so beautiful. She wrote a lot about lifestyle and everything you need to know about mindful living. I always go back to her blog to find writing inspirations when I’m totally in a rut to write. But one of the reasons I love about Michelle’s blog is her Sundaze and Petite Joys. She reminds me to always be grateful even with the little things. In September, she wrote about her honest thought being in an interracial relationship. It was a lovely story and worth to read for everyone who is experiencing them.
If you love beauty and skincare, Cindy’s blog got it all. From the fancy name to the affordable list, she wrote them with details. Just check out her archives you will find almost everything. I wish I have the amount of skincare as she does too. But apart from that, she also blogs a little about lifestyle. And one post that hooked me since was her Disneyland adventure. She has a simple yet aesthetic theme and I always get fascinated whenever I scroll through her blog. I mean who wouldn’t love black and white themes anyway?
